Went to track, new best time!!

We had a track rental yesterday, I ran my best time ever. But managed to blow a HG on my last run

TA-49
Blue tops
Big neck IC
9/11 2900 stall
Janis tranny
26x10 slicks


I was running only 23lbs of boost with c16, im not sure why the heck it let go, i showed no knock in DS and on my guage. Im not sure if my boost guage is screwed up, or my FP guage is wrong, as i had it set for 45lbs. DS was showing Injector duty at 140% tho top of the track.

I forgot to mention, my egts were in the 1800's also. But was showing no knock.


So it looks as my 1/8th mile time and speed is too low for some reason, whatever the reason is, the car is done till the spring, as im buying a house soon, so the car has to sit till i move into a bigger garage.

That 1800 EGT sure looks like you were lean. Frankg had his 009's cranked to 51 PSI to go mid 11's with a similar combo. I bet the combination of blue tops with fairly low FP and high EGT did you in. Time of an upgrade and some new gaskets but congrats!
