just wondering what everyone uses. i'm sure everyone has there favorite so post them here! i just bought an AC-DELCO battery mostly for that oem look not for price cause it was a bit more exspensive than say your average pep-boys battery. good warrenty though.

when the diehard security battery was recalled, i took it back to sears and got the best diehard they had; the diehard gold, plus some cash. :) car sat for almost a month back in dec. while there was snow and salt on the road. fired right up when i went to drive it. works for me.

i use a cheapo duralast battery from autozone...i think autozone makes these batteries...i have gone through 3 of them in one year already...hahaha

thank goodness for warranties...

I use AC Delco in the show car because its original equipment, kind of.It doesn't look like the old Delco Freedom batteries from 16 years ago but it's as close to original you can get.

I got the el cheapo from Advance Auto Parts about 4 years ago. My car sits all winter. I fire it up about once a month in the winter. I have had no problem. Well now that I wrote this I probably will.

I've got an Interstate in mine. I can't honestly tell you that mine will start up after a month of storage with no problems...I keep a trickle charger on it during those cold winter months.

I keep a cheap Autozone battery with a warrenty in mine. I have a chrome battery cover so no-body knows:cool: No problems with starts and it goes back to Autozone if I do have problems. Its probably the only thing in my car from Autozone:)

Optima.

So far out lasted all my Die Hard Golds.

Got them on both cars.

One red one yellow.

I use Walmart batteries in my cars. There cheap and walmart will warranty just about anything. I have to replace them about every three years. Not bad for $39.99.

I don't drive my car all that much, so I tend to kill batteries. It can usually go about 2 months and still fire right up. Right now I have a champion in there. I think its the 3rd one in a year and a half. I love the 2 year free replacement! I haven't paid for a battery in 4 years.

It's been a couple years but I think they're around $90 at a GM dealer. Oh the price some of us pay for originality.

I second that. Truth is I don't know what battery is in the Buick because it hasn't failed since I bought the car.

I put a AZ duralast in the Wife's exploder. The Florida heat kills daily drivers in 3 years, so I picked up a new AZ gold for 20 bucks after 3 years. I think the Gold has a longer free replacement, which means the rest are free at 3 years each.

I have NEVER had a daily driver battery last 4 years here, even the good ones.

Optima reds. I have one in each of my vehicles. No more fuzzy cables or rusted frame rails.
One of the batteries is almost 7 years old and has been run dead (thanks to my stupidity) many times and came right back with a quick charge.
