Ok the car is currently a White T,,I have been thinking about painting it the color of the 1996 Impalla ,the bluish color,,or keep it white--help

Hey Asphalt

Who is doin your paint? Do they good job for a good price. Im looking a good painter in the Chicagoland area. As far as color both are good but I would go with white. It looks good with rims plus if you ever deciide to sell it you have the orginal color. just my .02.

Only thing I can think is I knew of a guy that bought a brand new GN in 87 I think. It was a beautiful red and he turned it black. He know kicks himself in the butt I would imagine for doing it. Don't see to many red cars floating around. Mark :D

'96 Impala SS's only came in 3 colors- black, dark cherry, and light green. I assume you're talking about the green? I'd go white, I don't think that green will look right.

Ok White it is,,,you guys better hope I like it;) :D :D

I don't think I would be too fond of any of the impala colors on a T, but I will NEVER own a white car again. I used to have a white TA and the poor thing had perminent oily sludge marks on the hood and door. Of course, I think I worked on it more than I do my GN if anyone will believe that. Was that price quote including door jams and all the other goodies that need to get done during a color change?

Yeah, white sucks to keep clean, but on the bright side it hides imperfections better. Dude, I'd be leary of a shop that could do it that cheap! Thats like half what most places would get for a complete quality paint job, including jams, disassembly/ re-assembly, weatherstrip, etc. Unless you've already disassembled the car and you're going to reassemble it. Good luck!

I would go dggm or dcm. would look much better than white imo, I some day plan on changing mine from rosewood to dcm, its about the same, but darker, and I like dark:cool:
