Rather than use the exact original gray, I am thinking the new Cyber Gray on the 09 Corvette's is a good color to use and close to the original gray the T came with. The other option I'm thinking is a attractive blue, much like the Corvette's LeMans Blue.

Go gray, our cars don't have the body lines to pull off a LeMans Blue, but the modern Navy Blue Metallic would look great.

With the chrome trim, I would stay away from the brighter colors. If you want to go with something in the blue family maybe consider the dark blue used on the Suburbans. Otherwise I'd go with the grey.

I voted Cyber Grey, but it would depend on what condition the car is in. If it is a very low mile car, I would stick with the original color. Otherwise, go with your first choice.

Parts of the original block are probably still somewhere in Plano, Tx on Ohio Rd between 121 and Legacy...I'm only running some of the original drivetrain that survived the #5 and 6 con rods exiting the block back in 2001, even though I have everything documented back to 1987. It has 205,000 miles on the odo... I don't plan on selling it ever.

Cyber Grey!!!

I chose the Cyber grey and I would paint the stock rims the same color too and have the outside lip's and the shinny face's of the fins all polished!

There is a guy on here with a newer blue color on his car and I think it looks really sharp! Kinda like the color of my Goat.

I like the Cyber gray.

I have a Gray T that color, I have flirted with the idea of doing it in the 1982 Grand National paint scheme.

That looks like a great grey on the Vette. Of course, no one could actually determine that that grey is not the original Buick color, if that's of any consequence to you. The only thing that's important is that the job is first rate no matter what color you choose.

I voted sell the buick and just buy that vette. Thing is sweet.

Cyber Gray, but get fiberglass bumpers and color match em'. Leave the rest the chrome. That would really set it off. Especially when ever parked next to any other Regal or T. Then to really tear it up, put on some Centerline Convo-pros and paint the brushed center Cyber also. With that polished lip, you got your own version on a GNX...sorta'
Just a thought,
Coach

I can't vote because you don't have enough choices. I'd get the original grey and add a little (1/8, 1/16) black to it and get a little darker.

They are wicked. I though about it, part out the T, sell the GN, sell the 01 Z06, sell some underperforming stocks, as a down payment and get a $70K 2009 Zo6....But with our first baby arriving last week, I don't think its a good idea to get another 2 seater car.

I just ordered fiberglass bumpers and aluminum brackets and will paint to match! Good idea, thanks!
