Hey all, what conditions must be met in the ecm before it commands a lock up (Ground?) signal to the TCC Solenoid?

Thanks in advance,
Sal

4 I know of

Coolant temp. must reach whatever is programed into chip (120 maybe)
MPH in chip (45-50)
3rd gear switch must be made.
Min. and max. TPS--as an example--8 percent min. 40 percent max.

Thanks LOT.

For some reason mine is locking at part throttle after it shifts into 3rd and around 35 mph and sometimes under 35mph. I know its locked because i can unlock by pressing the brake.

I have an old Conley's mini mag chip in now but not for long...

3rd and 4th gears can be programmed separately for lockup.

I don't lock in 3rd with my chips as I believe it improves driveability.

The older style chips probably used the stock lockup strategy which includes locking in 3rd.
