Thats all that was bad about it

The only thing that makes sense is that it was stolen and dumped. Would a theft show up in Carfax? Mine didn't - until it was recovered and declared a total loss. If you look really close on that, I think the column is broken open in the usual place when they're stolen. It's hard to tell if that's a shadow or broken.

And what the hell is wrong with those people? At least clean it up a little to get the bidding up. Empty the interior, and at least get the grass off of the downpipe and turbo to create the illusion that it might actually run. And, it either runs or it doesn't. "We don't know if it runs or not". I'm thinking no - there's tumbleweeds where the dash was.

"We have the grille".....it's thrown inside the car where the interior used to be, right on top of that hubcap that came off of something else.

What a shame.

You guys act as if it was the only GN in existance. Face it, with 30,000 of them built over 4 years, you're gonna find a bunch of them laying around trashed. It's their loss, part it out so anther one can be made nice again. It's odd that it's not a hot air car, they seem to get the most neglect.

by your name id say you "needagn" to understand that alot of these cars were stolen and no one with a half of a brain would let a collector sit outside with the t-tops off to rot unless it was stolen(moreless a 86 or 87)..then again they could just be retarted

Could be stolen, but i'd bet they're just dumb as hell. Someone could have owned that car for years without realizing that it was collectible. The seller may have found it behind a barn and bought it for 50 bucks and is now selling it so someone else can use the parts to fix their car or restore that one if they so desire. Not to mention mke a lot of money if that is the case. You can't save them all.

This might be interesting to watch. Reserve not met at $1000. I wonder how much a GN is worth in this condition not knowing if it even runs  .

I figured the thing had to be stolen. Why else would wnybody put all the mods on it and then leave it? In my opinion, if one of us take the time and money to mod our cars, we usually care about the car a little. Seems REALLY FISHY!!!! Did anybody post this thing in the Stolen Cars section? Maybe somebody can vouch for it? ------jeremy

Emailed the seller this was the reply

"We dont have the paper title. We had to lien sale to the car to get it
in
our name. We had purchased some property that had two buick turbos on
it.
This is one of them. When we sell the car we will do a paperless title
transfer with dmv, other than that its clean.
Dom"

NOT every GN found like this is STOLEN !!!
