how do i know what he put in mine

im getting a new converter and i do not want it to lockup up under WOT

just part throttle and cruising

how do i know what i have and do i have to reset the chip for a bigger stall converter

I think default is at 45 mph and 75 mph at WOT.

I get this question a lot for some reason.

I never set chips to lock the converter at WOT, UNLESS the customer specifically tells me to lock it at WOT. It doesn't matter if it's a street chip, alcohol chip, or race chip. I never set it to lock at WOT by default.

For cruising, I set it to 45-50mph, unless the customer specs something else.

on the 6.0 chip and SD chip you set the WOT LU by yourself.

no , if you want lockup hookup a switch to pin f on the aldl and ground

ok so i didnt tell you any preferance on lockup so its only at cruising than and it will NOT lock at WOT??

i wanted to make sure before i break something when its going down the track and locks the converter and that is going to be :biggrin: to

That's correct, it won't lock at WOT.
