What is VSS and it's function?

I plan on discarding the cable driven VDO and using an electric. I really prefer not boring a hole through my AC vent if poss. This is some good info. from you guys BTW.:biggrin:

david , if you're not going to use vdo analog id be interested in it

im not crazy about the digital style odometers but nice thing about them is you can reprogram the speedo for different gears or tires

all gns s should have had the gnx style cluster , gm put a very similar cluster in the cutlass , even though they werent stewert warner those cheap gm gauges would have been better than the cluster we got
