What kind of upgrades to a bigger turbo?

Besides porting the compressor side for better flow what other mods can you do, or have someone else do, to make an older design turbo like a TE-60 better? I really don't want to go bigger than what I have because I'd then have to upgrade the injectors, chip, and maybe even the computer. I'm just looking for some cheap, or semi-cheap things to do to mine while it is getting an engine rebuild. Thanks.

The problem is that with the 009s you have now there is not much room for going bigger on the turbo.

With a 60-1 I would be running at least 50lb/hr injectors. At least with those you could step up a compressor size such as a 64.


Not quite what you wanted to hear but you will pop a head gasket going any bigger.
