I want something that adds more power of course. I am currently in the process of replacing the rear brakes with long shoes & new wheel cylinders. They seemed like they were frozen. I also ordered the brackets to relocate the lca rear pickup points from umi. These should correct the instant center on the car.

That should help with the launch. I was thinking about getting the razor crank pulley for weight reduction. Maybe a translator or something. I would like ported heads but they are expensive. At this point, what is there to get?

I may already have some things not in my sig, and I have not run the ps intercooler in the 1/4 yet. Thanks.

You have alot of stuff done to your car...but what's the use if you can't effectively utilize the hp that you have? Personally, I'd work on suspension... My $.02... Or try a cooler for your intercooler, nitrous style? It'll assist in lowering your intake temperature...no?

Thanks, I'm hoping what I am working on now will reduce my 60 fts. I still want more power though.

I'm very new to cars...'specially TR's. But how does your convertor/cam/turbo match up? Seems for all the parts you have on the car...you should be going faster. Are you utilizing scanning software? From what I've read here and on www.t6p.com if you're not having the car run in harmony with said parts, you're just dumping money...my thoughts...
Have heard good things about the

Maybe you should try these next?

He's running decent for his combo I believe. He has a 2.0 60 foot time in his sig if he gets that down he's in the 11's.

I just read RJCs recipe. It seems kind of weird. C16, alky, 30 psi, stock exhaust, slicks. Not too many people do it that way.

I know I need to correct the launches, that will help my times, but I want more power for cruising & passing, etc. I would love to have a car that did 2.0 60 fts, but still ran 11s. It leaves room for potential, but you can haul butt from a roll.

Like I said before, I am in the process of fixing the brakes (new wheel cylinders, long shoes), and have to get the UMI relocation brackets welded in. This will correct the suspension for launching. I had it plotted, and this will put the instant center close to optimum. Anti squat was 120% to 160% depending on the hole chosen. I still dont expect better than 1.7s, since I run with large hollow sway bar, and all body braces.

I just dont know what at this point would give substantial improvement. Ported heads would, but they are to expensive for now.

Is there nothing else you can do besides going into the heads? Headers should help, larger diameter Postons? Tiny shot of nitrous? Aftermarket doghouse? TB? Larger turbo? Then convertor?

Reviving an old thread. Still looking for ideas. Translator or Max effort? I feel like my entire intake (plenum, manifold, heads) needs to be opened up. lock up convertor?

I'll take care of the launching next time I go to the track.

Lots of stickers are good for horsepower. Maybe a big ass aluminum wing to help keep the rear end down at the end of the track. Better yet, put it on your hood since call the FWD cars I see have them on the back.

Sorry, I couildn't help myself. Is your alky kit progressive? If not, get a PAC from Razor. How about an HR rear sway bar?

I never thought I would be the person who would want something faster than 12s. I always thought it was more than enough.

Who sells the rocket boosters? Do you have a link?

Is it a daily driver? I've forgotten. All the small things add up.
Less weight.
-less washer fluid
-less spare/jack
-front runners
-lightweight driveshaft
-fiberglass parts
-should have aluminum bumber supports

come on, use those extra brain cells...
going fast isn't the size of your pocketbook,
it's the way in which you use the gray matter.

-open exhaust/cutout/dump
-wheel bearings good? low friction grease?
-with a cutout, you don't really need a 3" exhaust

It's in the fine print bro.
