hell is this?
I'm getting cell fone calls that come up on the screen as 000-000-0000. Have had several in the last few days...No message, just the missed call comes up.
NE1 else getting these??

The world is one giant commercial and I’m sick of it.

There should be a spam feature for cell phones that gets updated frequently.

We're getting 1-011-458-5662, then sometimes just 1. They call 3 times a day. I picked up once. There was silence and then a computer voice said "goodbye" and hung up.

I worked for them, when I was in the military. So, they already have my voice print, finger prints, and a copy of most everything else!

How's that work, is it thru the telco? I've looked at hardware solutions like a box that intercepts junk calls, but too expensive. I usually either hang up or leave the line open until they do...

My phone has a "reject call" built into it Russ. Kinda like a "favorites" on a puter, but in reverse.

I heard that they have released cell phone numbers to the telemarketers. Call the National Do Not Call site (888-382-1222) and get your phone put on the list. I think it lasts about 2 yrs. then you have to do it again. We've listed all our phones three times now and it cuts out most of the junk calls.

It's not cell fone,it's cell foam.Thats what they call them around here anyway.

we recently got a new ph number, and wow, totally blown away by the number of telemarketer calls, I'm talking 20-30 per day!
called do not call list, that helped, called ph company, they have a do not call app they installed, now were down to 3-5 per day.
my normal response is "were on the do not call list, I am recording this, and continued calls from you WILL result in me receiving a free trip to Hawaii, from the lawsuit." if nothing else, it makes me feel better.

I used to have the problem of getting 20 to 25 calls a day from just about every state in the country it seemed like in a weeks time. I put up with it for way to long,i think. So one day i decided enough was enough,and if they were going to call me it was going to be at their risk.

I answer the phone nicely until i hear them talk,then i reach over and get my whistle and blow blow blow until i hear them hang up. I know it's not very nice of me to do that but if they don't call me i can't do that to them.

It worked very well, now i get maybe 3 calls a month.

it's pretty easy to make a different number show up on caller id... google it.. i can call you and make it look like someone else is calling with minimal effort.
