What Transmission do I have?

I have a 87 Turbo-T.. I know I have a P.O.S. transmission in it. The previous owner had it R & R'ed at a rinky dink transmission shop in St Pete. It shifts very soft and slips. All for $1200. Now I need to replace this with the correct once. But what do I have now? The only description I can give is it looks like a 200R4. The tag on the side is silver and has a "C Q" imprinted on it. The converter it light blue and has "KX" stamped around it.

Any ideas?

Should be a Monte SS which are supposed to be close in calibration to a BQ or BRF.
