what type spoiler?

Im going with an alluminum wing to keep the rear of the car down

im stuck between a fixed style such as the "jegster" alluminum race wing or an adjustable

either way i will be making my own. i think the trunk width is 53"

the Comp Engineering, Chassis Eng. and the Jegs wings fall to short, i believe 48". I can order the adjustable struts and mounts from Chassis Eng. to make my own, othewise i can easiley make a fixed wing.

I will be using zues fasteners for the trunklid eitherway and the fuel cell is in the trunk. so what would be better??

just how fast are you running? 200 mph?

Spoilers become effective at about 110 MPH...just make something pretty.

1000milez, is the trunkl width you're measuring, just the trunk lid or from tip to tip on the stock rear spoiler? if ift from tip to tip there's prob a few inches you can shave off figuring for the stock wing end pieces. if not, what if you mounted the 48 inch spoiler and added some metal to the sides?
