What valves to go with in pump??

I have both sizes TV boost and reverse boost valve. Which ones should I use for my mild build 2004R.
The .551" TV boost with .296" reverse valve from CK or .471" tv boost with .270" reverse from Art Carr?
Please let me know which you would use.

What converter are you using? The boost valve size depends on the PR Spring you are using and main pressure needed.

David, I am using the stock converter that has been rebrazed with a slightly higher stall. I am using the orange PR spring with fairly high pump pressures.

I went with a .500, it was cheap, and a .283 I think(i didn't measure it). I do have a higher stall (not sure, my supplier told me it is "experimental") lock up.
I think I'd go big but you might look at a .500 and use the .296 you have.
I put a pink spring in that stack.

More pressure. I was told keep it under 300psi. David posted in another thread what he uses. I'm cheap so I went with the inexpensive .500. If I could score a .521 or .531 I would try em. The rev boost raises pressures in 1,2 and rev. With what I used it got me good pressures.

I will say, I'm also going to hunt up the 330psi pressure relief valve as I'm pretty sure I can hear the one in there bypassing fluid sometimes .

I have never used that spring. I usually use a .471 valve with a .296 with a 12" converter with a stock BR spring with that aftermarket regulator you had posted in another thread. You do not need more than 240-250 with them. Higher pressure will hake them shift too hard and maybe break parts....
