New TE44, 3" THDP & Testpipe, 50#Delphi, Dutt Stock IC, Nitto 555r drag radials, stock block/heads, TT Chip, stock suspension car

Any guesses on 1/4 ETs?? This is coming together this week :)

What its capable of and what it will achieve can be completely different. :D

Assuming its tuned very well, the biggest question mark will problably be the launch and 60ft. The Nittos aren't great but with practice can put down some decent 60fts once in a great while. With the Nittos the best you can probably do is a low 12 and if you're real lucky maybe a high 11. That would be with a 1.8x 60ft running 25lbs of boost or so.

If your tune is not quite right and you're running lower boost, you'll probably be looking at a mid 12 or so. Maybe worse if you're running low boost and have a real bad 60ft on the Nittos.

I ran 11.66@112.9mph a couple of weeks ago in my T on a TE44 at 26lbs boost with a 1.60 60ft on Mickey Thompson Drag Radials. My combo is very similar except I'm also using an H&Rparts rear sway bar and running alky. I use Directscan and EGT for tuning. With a more efficient converter, a little better 60ft and more boost I think 11.3s could be had.

How much boost will you be running and what size drag radials do you have? Do you have an Alky kit or will you run race fuel? Do you have a scan tool to help tune the car at the track? This combo tuned correctlly and with traction will easily produce low 12's. You need a good tune and you need TRACTION.

Yes, I have a scanmaster, I plan on running 20-22lbs of boost and getting alky soon to run more. The nittos are 275 50 15's. Thanks for the input people! I figure mid-low 12's with a decent tune.

You may have better luck with the 275/60/15, it may help with your speed on the top end of the track. The 60 is a taller tire.
