What year did the TR have the hood bulge?

I just saw an "older" T-Type in the Tustin, CA Lowe's parking lot (in case the owner is a board member)

Two tone, black and gray, chrome grille with vert center bar, wheels where flush with the outside of the tires.

I don't know what year it is, but it did have the 3.8 Litre Turbo on the sides of the hood bulge.

You were looking at a 84/85 Designer Series T Type (WH1)

The first turbo Buick in 1978 had the hood bulge
and the rest of them did also.

1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 i thaught the first turbo buick was back in 76?

believe 78-84 had 3.8 litre Turbo on the sides (also a wider bulge)

85-87 had 3.8 sfi turbo

I can tell you for certain that the (at least my) 1985 wh1 has the typical hood with the bulge, maybe he took it off to hide it, or is getting it repaired or something?

There were some 82's NA4.1 without the bulge in the hood.
