Thinking of sticking the GN drivetrain in my 87 T-Type as I really don't have time for both cars. I don't have to part with either of them (not hard up for cash, just short on time), so i'm just kind of curious what I could realistically get for the GN in roller form. Any ideas?

1987 T-Top GN

8 point chromoly roll bar

Full interior (a/c, heat and radio delete, currently has racing bucket, also have great condition stock seats)

Complete fuel system less injectors, #10 feed line, 1000hp Paxton pump and filter

Stock rear with heavy duty axles, pinion angle set at about -3*

Weld Drag Sat wheels (skinnies up front)

Comp. Engineering shocks, no front sway bar

Accel DFI, 72# injecter tune (Job Spetter)

Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges (boost, water temp, big face tac with recall), hood-mounted KB fuel pressure gauge

I'm probably forgetting a few things. The car is in nice shape. The only thing I would change is the hood. It has a few dents that aren't worth fixing (IMHO). Sticka new stock hood or 'glass hood and you would be good to go. Car left hard and went straight on 28x9" tires. Best of 1.48 60 foot.

What is this thing worth?

If the drive train is original to the car, I think youd be crazy to to take it out. A GN is always worth more than a T. Just my 2 cents!! ----Jeremy

It couldn't be worth more than 500 bucks shipped to my door, I'll PM my address:D Seriously, the car could go for anywhere from $1500 to $5000 depending on whether or not you found someone who wanted that exact car. The cage is a positive selling point to me, but may turn off others. I may even be interested myself, if you figure out a price.

3500 to me in nice condition,,,cause I would stage 2 it and have big bucks in it when done. Rag the "T" and save the GN

The car would be worth something to a person with a built engine and trans who is looking for a race car, not a street car (unless they don't mind climbing over a roll bar and not having a/c, heat or a radio. There's no way i'd let it go for $5000. The body is in excellent shape and has always been kept in a heated garage. The only thing the car would need besides a race-ready engine and trans is the 5 point harness recertified. I could pop a 70GTQ and intercooler in the car right now and go low 10s.

I won't part with the T. If anything, the GN would go. The T has enormous sentimental value, the GN is just another race car to me (i've had a bunch). Like I said, I don't need to sell the car. I was just curious what a roller like this would go for. Thanks for the input.

perfect

I need this car ASAP how much, i have a stock GN going mid tens and have no cage in it. Spare motor on the side for a body like yours get in touch with me...:D

Thanks again for the input, guys. I'm going to think about it for a while. It's not costing me anything keeping the GN, but I just may sell it in roller form to free up some funds and make some room.
