I really like a SEM product called "trim black". You mix it 50/50 with laquer. It turns out looking great, and is hard as a rock. It also comes in a rattle can (part #39143).
I agree. I do body and paint for a living. SEM trim black is good, and easy to use. I used the rattle can SEM. Wurth also makes a awesome trim black in an aerosol can that may be even better, but a few bucks more expensive.
I used SEM trim black in the rattle can on my grill, tail lights, headlight bezels, window trim and some under the hood. 2 1/2 years later it still looks great. You can't go wrong with SEM.
