Just installed new pats 3200 lu torque converter and I want to get a new turbo.I have a ta 49 but want to run 10.70 to 10.90.What would be the best turbo to get me there.Rest of my mods are weber heads, stock short block,55lbs,xp pump, hot wire, volt booster, precision intercooler,TH downpipe,HR upper and lowers, weld draglites with skinnies and 28x10 slicks. Thanks Mike

Based on what I've been reading a CPT-66 BB or GT6776 BB would work well without having to restall your converter.

I also have a Pats 3200 waiting to go in and I was contemplating one of those turbos.

A GTQ 67 would also do the job IMO, WELL:biggrin:

You need a cam to go with that combo. 212-212 and a 67 turbo will do it at 25 psi. You will be maxing out the injectors though

I agree with Bison.

It would certainly be easier to do it with a lil more cam and safer with more injector. consider using the cam in my sig, it is proven to work great, and my time is with a lil t63e turbo at 20#. I may just go with a 70q trim BB for next year but if I dont, Im sure I can go 10.80 with the t63e if I just turn up the boost a bit. By the way did u get a flow sheet with the Weber heads?

Check out board member Grumpy.... his daughters car has a 67 ball bearing turbo I think.... it has gone low 10's.... on pump gas and alky.... upper 10's should be obtainable with similar combo... on considerably less boost...... and not stress anything too much.

No I didnt get a flow sheet with the heads, they are webers full race port heads with bigger valves and the egr block off.Was I supposed to get a flow sheet? Thanks for all the replies.Mike
