bunch of Cousins
We are all pretty tight, get along great and love cars and we help each other out and consult each other on future mods.
and yeahh we always talk plenty of smack.
One cuz has a 02 Ws6 the car was dyno'd at 368 OR 398 to the engine and he has been talking about some mods for a long time.
so anyway i go over to his garage to pick up the rest of my junk and guess what he tells me he was hiding from me- A NX system that he is going to set up to a 100 HP shot.
the plan was to race me from a roll and hit the N2O once i start pulling on him:mad:.
My other cuz was also in on it and he is shopping for a supercharger for his 2010 SS Camaro.

anyway i told them both that i going to buy a cheater N2O kit and run at least a 75 shot.

they hate this little V6:biggrin::biggrin:
Do i have to worry about this thing??

02 WS6 less then 60K miles on the block
mods
1-stock headers with cat back system
2-LS what ever Corvette intake
3-tune -coming soon
4-NX wet system with a 100 shot

If he can drive you might have a hand full there... Might need to turn up the boost a little;)

With the right tune, the LS-1 can work well with spray. You will need more boost. As far as the 2010 SS....wouldn't pay much attention to him unless he bolts the "sticky" tires on.

From a dig would be your best bet. Hopefully he doesnt get traction off the line, if he sprays it out of the hole or a couple of feet after he'll just spin them. If you roll race him, better brake boost the phuck out of it because those cars love to eat spray.

New mod to the 02 WS6
1-stock headers with cat back system
2-LS what ever Corvette intake
3-tune -coming soon
4-NX wet system with a 100 shot
5-Gutted cats with O2 Sims
He wants to beat me REAL BAD.
I wouldn't be surprised if he sneaks in a 12 bolt rear with some gears in it.
and/or
If he ups the N2O shot to 125-150.

I haven't led up on the smack talking i actually stepped it up a notch and invited him to our early fall track rental at ATCO but he declined:mad:

Not looking good for me

He (WS6 cousin) is now looking away from the N2O and going with a supercharger.

the only good news is that once he is done installing the supercharger he is going to hand me the N2O kit:biggrin:

Go and buy some 116 octane fuel, add a bunch of fuel to the program and turn the boost up to 26-27psi and it wont matter how good he drives or how bad you are at driving. You will crush him. Plan on him trapping 115-117 with the 100 shot and dont race from a roll. If the pansy asses want to race from a roll tell them to go race the 12 sec bolt on racers on Saturday night.

Yeah because they lilkely got their ass kicked by them for as long as they've owned anything they thought was quick. Be sure to email them links to this thread to burn their asses. Do everything at your convenience when you race someone else. Let them make up the excuses as to why they are lost.

I am gonna need a lot of help here guys.

Up date
the WS6 now has an LSX race block and it was built to put 500+ down to the wheels on pump gas and it will have another 200hp on spray. The car also has a ford 9" with 3.55 gears full rear suspension big $$$ spent adjustable everything and he is ordering a set of drag radials. this car is going to be a beast.

Do i have a chance in hell against this thing ?
I don't think i do besides him breaking loose, He is using a professional race shop with a good track record.
What do you guys think?

Built an elephant motor to take on a 3.8 litre V6. No matter what, it would be interesting to see just how close it would be. Then compare investments.

Back in the day I raced quite a few of those since they all wanted to beat the new-at-the-time C5 Z06. Stock with 100 shot he would have been a low 12 sec car easy. With 500+ to the wheels, he'll be deep 11's.

That would be an unfair comparison, I am cheap as hell, do a lot of my own work and part/price shop A LOT. And I don't give two shits about looks. Plus I am running a BS V6

Tell him pull two plug wires , just to even it up a bit. Your turbo, he is sprayin, 6 cylinders for each right?
