IMO If you can afford to run the car on the street, its a street car.No matter if it runs race gas or full on slick's.

My only requirments are:license,tag,and insurance

If its has those 3 things, its a street car.

Street car....

Anybody remember the video of Dan Millen driving his low 7 second 10.5 Outlaw turbo Mustang to BK and back to the shop?? I guess some would consider that a street car.... Whatever floats your boat!:)

I posted this same question on another board and a Mustang guy with an 8 sec (claimed) car said all he has to do is remove the chute and it's a street car.

I guess my WE4 is a street car:D never mind the BIG converter, spool and solid roller.

Can't wait to drive it to work Monday!

It's all about driving it. When you stop driving it to work its DONE ! no longer a street car. :D

I think if it has a valid tag/registration, insurance and mufflers, it could be called a street car. Even with Buicks, Supra's, Mustangs, or anything boosted running C-16, you have limited mileage you can drive before running out of gas, so I don't think that mileage or daily use should be the deciding factor. If you wanted to make it mileage, then type of gas and readily available pump gas (93 octane) should be the standard. That would knock off many boosted applications. Anyway, I defer back to the first sentence.

I guess "street legal" means "street car".

But without A/C, a rear seat, or the ability to go very far, it is not a very good "street car".

So there you would have different levels of "street car"...:D

Greg, why don't you tow that 7 second beast up to Towers tomorrow night for our club meeting?

We will even let you park with us.:D

What's up Shawn. If it's (the Mustang) got a turbo on it, will you like it better?

7 seconds!? I'df settle for 8's at this point.

Can't I park with you guys anyway?

My bad. No flame. What are you at 9.0's? I thought you were at 8.0's shooting for 7's. Must be 9.0's shooting for 8's. I can't remember.

Turbo or not, you are welcome. Stop by and see us. We park by the lightnings.:D
