I'm trying to get a handle on when Alchy becomes the best bang for the buck. I'm slowling working through the recipe, but still run a mostly stock setup. The injectors and exhaust are stock.

Car has: hotwired 340, AFPR, adj wastegate, K&N, 160, T92, gauges, and that's about it. 40k, I've got T-link to tune with.

Distilled to two questions, should I do a hi flow exhaust first, and will I need to upgrade injectors to run Alchy?

Definately get exhaust if you have the stocker on there.

I was running the stock turbo, intercooler and injectors when I bought the alky. It is the best bang for your buck mod you will do. There is nothing like running 22 psi at all times on the street. :)

I would just buy the hooker exhaust setup and be done with it.

When to go to Alchy?

As soon as possible! ;)

Definitely do the exhaust and run a test pipe if you can. The Hooker cat-back comes with one (yeah, kinda ironic!), and I do recommend that system highly!

Then, get alky and tune your boost up to 20-21 psi and hang on!

I have stock stuff and the alky is great. Once you turn up the boost, if you ever have to go back it sucks:mad:

BTW I am still running stock exhaust, will have to wait until next year for the Hooker I think:(
