Where to get shift cable?

Well, after 5 years I got her going. Problem is the steering column moved clockwise and it sounded like flywheel bolts hitting the converter, it wasn't. I noticed that the shifter cable cover by the trans had snapped. Where do I get the right cable?

I bought one a few years back from the dealership.

Any big box stores? Is there a specific length? I know most say console shifter but Rock Auto had one for floor shift. Does this sound correct?

They are vendor & can help you out; I'm thinkin' floor shifter & column cables are different length...

There's not a cable on the column cars. Use only OE, parts stores don't work correctly.
