Where to Stay in Bristol

Looking for decent hotel in Bristol for the BOP event.
Stayed in Bristol Va a couple of years ago and the hotel was dead.
Where do all the racers stay?

Same here ive gone 3 times, last time i went, no venders showed up although i did enjoy the first year BOP show, got to watch a 69 trans am run 10.30's all motor too!

if memory serves me right, i stayed at the econo lodge 3 years in a row that is located about 10 miles from the track-

3 years ago it was packed with turbo regals, but i couldnt tell you where everyone is staying these days, the host hotel was a little further away...

good town, small enough you can see every hotel in about an hour

The Holiday Inn and Best Western seem to be a favorite choice--not a huge town--everything is within 20 minutes.Ask for the discount for the event--or atleast last year there was a small one.Maybe this year there will be a head gasket class under the canopy at the holiday inn(crap--i think that's where i stayed )
