Which converter?

I have a fairly stock Gn, but plan to go bigger with turbo and injectors. I am getting my trans rebuilt by Jimmys in Illinois. He suggested the 9" Vigilante stall converter for $730. I heard that the Art carr 9" was better? Which converter is better and where can I get one for a decent price? Thanks in advance Scott

you should stick with jimmys recommendations.he is very knowledgable with 2004rs.he also uses our e4340 parts in his rebuilds.if you are not going to go too big ie 44 turbo i would suggest a 3000 stall.itll wake up your stocker too.we would use a 3000 stall 9/11 and it is a little better priced verses the vigilante.either way the right convertor will net BIG increases in performance.
