Which filter with a Art Carr deep pan?

I bought a new Art Carr deep pan from Art Carr on Ebay ( 150 shipped ), I have sent them 2 emails asking which filter to use with the pan with no reply, so i'm asking the gods of the 200 4r which one to use. I have done searches for answer but could not come up with one. Thanks in advance for any help.

This is the filter I use with my aluminum deep pan. Not sure if it is an Art Carr one or not. Bought it from Kirban years ago. AC Delco Part #8657926 If your pan has the four stands on the inside you will have to grind them down a bit to fit the bottom feed filter. Hope this helps.

I think they're setup for the 2004R filter. To use the 700R4 filter you'll need to grind the posts down like stated above. May check with Art to get correct Info>> Art Carr 2004R Performance Transmission, Racing Shifters and Torque Converters

I found out that I bought the pan from the Art Carr in Texas and not from CPT. I will be going with the 700r4 filter and milling down the stands in the pan. Thanks for the replies.

You dont need to mill them all the way down. just enough so the filter isnt being squeezed

Thanks for the replies, but the link that SSedan64 posted calls for a 4L60 filter, is there a difference between the 700 and 4L60 filters?

Should be the same. Not 4l60E though
