just as the title says, anybody have any idea? I have same setup as Jason Cramer's 9 sec list on RJC's website except i run roller cam and have just sold my 70GTQ.I run a 3500 stall also.Want to get new billet turbo DBB in its place what do yall think?

That's easy.
The new Billet 71 HPQ with our new Air Cooled Dual Ball Bearing cartridge actually displaces the older 70 GTQ turbo.

Hope this helps.

Patrick

Patrick, how much more horsepower does the billet71 bring to the party?
Any Buick examples you care to share with us?

Thanks, Kip

I'm not Patrick but the chart he posted as a sticky on this forum shows 975 HP

I would have thought the 6780hpq would have been the closest if you go by hp numbers but a smaller billet will put out more than an equal or alittle bigger old style is that correct?

I wanted to here some Buick V6 stories? Like so and so only made a turbo change and they picked up X.

Thanks, Kip

There are some threads about the billet 71 so you may want to search those out and post that question in them.

I would think that the TSM guys will be banging on these this spring and keeping their information/results pretty close to the vest; at least until the first TSM event.;)

Good luck. That looks like an awesome turbo.

Sam, email me some data when you get a chance.

Thanks, Kip

well if you buying a new one at this point might as well get the best thing going at the time! RIGHT?
