I figured I should replace my pcv because I'm not sure how old the one I have in right now is. Who should I go with? Rjc? Koreans? Autozone?

I would go with a stock replacement, AC Delco p/n CV893C. Last I bought some was a few years ago. The local Buick dealership had them in stock at $5.95 a piece.

make sure you blow throught them, i have 4 here that let air passed the check side...not good under boost

I use a factory pcv valve for metering vacuum but I rigged up a kirban checkball style valve in line between factory pcv and TB. No more blowing oil out everywhere at 20+ psi. I don't even add 1/2 a quart anymore in 1000 miles of driving and beating on it.

I ran the luber finer 1162 from autozone with great results had the rjc/kirban heavy duty pcv and it made my blms rest at 142.

Ditto.

That's why you use them both, factory style and checkball style; best of both worlds but either by themselves doesn't get the whole job done ie: metering vacuum and preventing excessive crankcase pressurization.

Can you fit a Jose around the bottom of the Rjc and the top of the liner finer? Thought they were very different in diameter

I don't know about the RJC one but I'm sure something can be rigged up. Using the kirban one in line with my factory pcv took a little minor fab work, but with various hoses, you can make it work. I used to use 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles but now I use 1/2 quart every 2000 miles and the rest of the motor is the same. It pushed less out of the breathers as well keeping your engine cleaner.

I used the RJC Racing valve and my BLMs went to 150, O2's went to zero and I got a code for the O2 sensor stuck lean .068 or so. That valve was sucking so much air that my hand would get stuck on the passenger side breather if I put it there lol.. going back to a stock PCV valve fixed the problem. Maybe I just got a bad one from RJC racing? I do like We4Mateo's idea of using it as a check valve while under boost and will have to try that and see how it works out inline with the stock PCV...

For those of you running the inline check valve, I think it's a good idea, but make sure to check them every once in a while. After running mine for several years, earlier this year I found that it was stuck in the closed position. Even applying compressed air to it wouldn't get it to move. Therefore, I was getting no suction through my PCV. Not good for oil life.

I honestly can't remember where I got it. It was brass, and it was nice because it just installed in the vacuum line between the PCV and the metal vacuum line. Too bad it didn't last.

For now, I'm just running an AC Delving PCV and no check valve.
