Who Makes a decent Exhaust?

If ATR is out of business, who then makes a decent exhaust system that has the Correct cut tips? Seems to me everyone makes an exhaust for the GN, but they all just have a "Cut-off" end. :frown:

I'd like to find exhaust that is identical looking to the originals, but perhaps larger in diameter.

hooker

i got my hooker kit in on friday, ordered it tuesday of the same week. cost me $309 shipped to my door through jeg's, plus install. the guy at the muffler shop said that the hangers sucked so he welded better ones on, also he had to make a gasket for the test pipe connection and had to supply the bolts. looks stock and performs great, i am a very satisfied customer.

I also had a new set of footprints in the passenger side floorboard, i'm sure it took two people to listen for leaks surely they weren't just seeing what a turbo buick is all about :biggrin:

come on guys, at least knock the floormats off

BTW, I bought a used Hooker exhaust and put new mufflers on (Aerochambers) and I'm very pleased with it. Sounds great!

im getting an pretty strong bug crawling in my skin. I wanna go from my 3" cat to 4" single shot. But I wanna try a 10 series flowmaster 4"in/Out(with my cat of course).

Anyone ever hear a 10 series flowmaster muffler on a 3.8L v6 turbo?


but to answer the post, i run a dual hooker with flowmaster 40series(with turn downs), and a high flow 3" cat to match my THDP. Sounds bitching! Wakes my ballz up at 3k its quite lovly but after is dead, which is nice too. It's pretty quite WOT actually, but curzin around low throttle its pretty loud. Once boost builds its quite, but thats great too.

At the time that list was created, I tested all the links.

That list is stored on t6p.com in the technical library section. They removed mine and I guess the rest of everyone's editing ability. It has been my complaint for some time to have my editing authority reestablished. That has yet to be completed but I have ask the moderators/owners of both boards.

So, until that time comes, and for those of us that take the time to document, it's going to be hard to keep things up to date. IE websites changes, etc.

I am sorry I can't help more. For those links that don't work, try removing the last part. IE www.jegs.com/exhaust/image39.jpg. Remove everything past the last /. Maybe they moved some files around.

I tested every link and the only one that didn't (partially) work was the Jegs. It took you to their site but they had move the GN exhaust to a different page. The link did work though.

So, when some say it doesn't work. What does that mean? Page not found or the page pulled up but the exhaust was not on that page?

the problem is with Vbulletin, when the link name is too long, they shorten it up as a visual, but when you copy it, your copying the shorter name, and not the full length of the url.

well you have the part numbers for summit and jegs so its not that hard to find. And the prices went up on both sites the Jegs was like 325 and the summit price was 329 on the hooker catback oh you already changed that too my bad
