Hot Air HP

looking for some big horsepower on stock block who and how to get this turd going most bang for my buck

Although I don't have specific dyno numbers I'm pretty sure Turbo6X2 (Jamie) is making more than 500hp to the wheels on a stock hot air block with stock location intake and turbo. Boost 231 (Brent) is probably not far behind.

Big #'s... You sure you posted in the right froum? i don't see any hotair cars putting down BIG #'s on stock blocks...

just trying to get what im up agianst to get into low tens or sell this thing
Don't take this the wrong way, but if your heart is set on low 10's, sell it as it will require a lot of tenacity and patience, something few people have.
Good luck in your quest.

I still have a stock block, rods and crank on my set up and it makes a few horsepower last I checked.

Jamie,
Now that we got your attention :cool::

Few will EVER try what you and Carl have accomplished.
Since there was another thread discussing IC and NOS, and fel therefore to have given the most appropriate advice; Sell it.

Getting a HA to run low 10’s is a mindset, which is not displayed by the weak, period.
I and many look forward reading about your 9 sec. slip.

Ms Jamie probably is putting 600+ to the crank (Thanks to Karl... The Mad Scientist:cool:..). If there is going to be a 9 sec time slip, it will be coming out of Michigan.... Maybe this Winter:eek::biggrin:

Hopefully it will happen this year at BG.

So far for the C/T HA cars the best time slip is 11.9. Granted it was with NOS but it was also with the modified turbo, a turbo 350, and 241 gears. Talk about overcoming obsticles. I'll be running NOS free but with 3.42 gears and a 2004r. We'll just have to see what happens now.

Let's see who actually shows up at Bowling Green this year. I plan on being there. Time will tell on the numbers, if we have weather like last year, I see a lot of people setting new personal best. John Bruce should be running pretty good this year too.
