Why does my "windshield washer" light come on????

i don't have a tank for the washers.
and the light will come on after driving for a bit.
just started doing this?

the light is very annoying.
any suggestions???

Regals didn't come with a light for the washer. Somebody has had the dash apart and put the CEL socket in the wrong hole. Sounds like you have bigger problems if it comes on after going into closed loop.

Maybe because my speedo quit working.

it began running a little rough after i rehooked the battery up.

don't remember if it came on the same time.
