If I put my tranny in 3rd or OD and run it at WOT through the gears my 2-3 shift has a more defined flair and reduced speed of the shift. If I manually shift it on the 2-3 the flair is less defined but still there.

What is my tranny guy doing wrong....I've given him 3 trannys that did not have a 2-3 flair. He rebuilds it with all the good frictions/steels, some hardened parts, big pressure valves, billet servo etc... and the 2-3 flair is present in all of them. What do I need to tell him to do or not do to get rid of the flair??? TIA

Sounds like his calibrations (spacer plate) need some help.
Does he put a slug in the 3rd gear accum orfice?
