why so rich???

I'm working on a friends 84T and it is very rich.All the plugs are fouled so we change them out and install a new MAF.The car runs fine for a few minutes then starts running very rich at idle again.
I can't figure this one out.Will my scanmaster work on his 84??

scanmaster will not work on an 84 unless the ecm has been swapped for an 87 unit.


we're gonna need to know everything that's been done to the car before we can help.
