Wideband 02 Sensoe in the Testpipe

My car uses wideband correction. I know where the sensor should be but drilling and welding to a brand new downpipe makes me sick. How much are the different will the readings be from the downpipe verses the testpipe? If the difference is measureable the drilling and welding will have to happen.
 
Mines in the testpipe .the innovate will need a heat shield and make sure it is above 3 oclock
