I sent my trans out a few years ago for a re-build after it completely stopped working. It worked great for a while, but eventually got the second to third flare. When adjusting the t/v cable, I can't let it automatically adjust or it will start out in second and shift at really high rpms. I can adjust where it is not as tight and it seems to shift fairly normally, still with the flair. I did grind on the governor to increase the shift point years ago before all of this. If I remember correctly, I think the trouble started after a trip to the track where it threw the governator spring. Help...
