Having a problem with partial throttle (3/4 or so) backfire. Definetly in the exhaust as the last time it happened I bent the butterfly plate in my electric exhaust cutout.

My alky (DIY) is set to come on at 12lbs of boost. Fuel pressure comes up fine when into boost so no problems there. This is a 25,000 mile GN. Did a hold your foot to the floorboards gonzo run a few weeks ago and was holding 25lbs of boost with .9 knock retard and the 02's were at .740 on the scanmaster. MPH was 126 with no sign of backfiring or missing.

Going to adjust when the alky comes on to see if it makes a difference, just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.

YOU BETCHA. Sounds like maybe too much @ once as well as maybe too early. Snapped a billet forward drum @ BG couple years ago by doing exactly that. Car stumble and them came back to life---BOOM.
