Will a 1984 4.1 Turbo motor work in an 87 T-type? Is it possible to use the 87 intake and and everything else with the 84 long block? Just throwing this out there to see. Thanks in advance!

84' turbo 4.1?

You mean 4.1 with turbo crank?

Otherwise, everything just bolts on. Of course with the exception of pistons, oil drain, etc...

I am not sure what it is, here is the listing that was posted.

1984 BUICK 4.1 TURBO MOTOR STILL IN THE PLASTIC FROM MACHINE SHOP
1984 BUICK TURBO MOTOR COMES WITH THE TURBO & CARB. ADAPTER
THIS MOTOR WAS BOUGHT FROM BEN PILLA SPEED SHOP AND WAS SENT TO MACHINE SHOP TO BE COMPLETELY CHECKED OUT ROSS GAS PORTED PISTONS H-BEAM RODS NITRATED CRANK.
I AM GIVING THE DISTRIBUTOR WITH THE TURBO CONTROLLER AND THE EXHAUST
MANIFOLDS AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT I STILL HAVE HERE FOR IT.
THIS MOTOR IS READY TO GO JUST A FEW GASKETS AND A WATER PUMP

The easiest way to find out what you have there is to post the block casting number.

Sure it will bolt in. But does it come with an oil pan? 1984 block would be 14 bolt and 87 is 20 bolt.
Is the turbo drain hole drilled?

1984 4.1 Turbo motor with carb adapter?

NOPE. Didnt exist. Someone might have built a 4.1 for a carbed hot-air hoping for a little more power than the 3.8 had, but Buick did not sell a 4.1 turbo V6.
