Just curious because cylinder #5 on my car is reading low from the others (125 compared to 141). I did the test with the throttle closed and the car was a little warm.

i dunno, i had all my cylinders checked previously when i first did the motor. one cylinder wall was glazed ove ra bid and was about 20 psi less than the others, but all were at 150 with the throttle open. i did it again the other day, after a few thousand miles of use, with some restore stuff to get the glazed cylinder wall sealing again. Readings were ALL at 145 psi, with the power plate now, and the throttle closed. dont know if the power plate or the throttle closed droped em 5 psi, but now they are all even, probably because of the restore additive. i used it in my GS for 2K miles, with excellent results. engine has 130K miles on it, and it brought the compression up about 20 to 40 psi in all cylinders. made it have quite a bit more power, and the compression hasnt gone down since.
