Won't start

So I just bought this 85 gn and it won't start it'll crank but has no spark. There is a security code on the dash could this cause it. Also a local guy told me the keys had chips in them keeping them from starting is this true?

No chip in key. I don't think it would crank if security was enabled.

Plugs dry or wet?

Have you tried the security code? The factory security has been known to create a problem when not working properly. Have you checked the fuses, etc?
