July and August are brutal months here for racing when temps are still over 100 deg at early evening, so this is when we do maintenance and upgrades on our toys. 
I know the factory had to "package" our turbo engines to accommodate many things like AC, cruise, PS and of course emissions. I tired of this stuff long ago in my race car, and finally got fed up with the turbo placement in our cars.
So we did the logical thing that most other turbo racers do when building their car, turn the turbo the "correct" way so the inlet faces front, and exits to the rear. :biggrin: [Love the access to the distributor now even though it is not installed yet!]
So we built a new set of headers to accommodate this placement, and while at it made a few other cool changes such as the "cool" air inlet from the inner headlight.
Not completely finished yet, but is coming together nice!
Of course the stock dash is worthless in a race car, so after a couple butcher jobs, the dash and console will also be completely re-done, but no pics yet.
