Hey Brent,
Thanks for your sacrifice and service to this country!
You certainly have earned the right to talk (No pun intended).
We (USA) are our own worst enemy and the cancer is from within.
IMO, Wal-Mart ruined this country . . . .

Now, tell us how YOU "really feel". ;)

pump

Boy that sucks! Aeromotive is in Lenexa Ks ,about 60 miles from were i live i bought one thinking it was American because a lot of there other products are made in America.I fill like I was slipped a rupee.I still have a new walbro i can use.

I would buy a pump from China, but only if someone non-Chinese made it.

J/K. Whatever is the best pump, will go in my car. I don't care if a 10yr old in Uzbekistan is making it. Ideally I would like to buy American and support our vendors. We have one of the baddest musclecars of all time, and we deserve the best! Even at the sacrifice of 10 yr olds :)

I am glad to hear that just about everyone who cared to reply has preferred the US made Walbro solution. With all the Walbro bashing going on I just was not sure what people here wanted. In the end they want a good product and someone to stand behind it. Stay tuned we will have a solution soon
Mike

Thanks Mike for the input.I would buy the Walbro, they had some issues and made good with it:)They are made here and I support my vendors and people that work here:cool:

The only chinese part on my car is the blower motor, when mine started getting noisy a long way from home. For less than $20 it was worth the convenience. I'd probably tow it across country before slipping a chinese fuel pump in it.

Something like a fuel pump? No way in hell would I buy chinese!

Edit: Had to edit, no way in hell do I buy anything chinese!

haha.... thats kinda what i was thinking......

back on subject... Thanks Mike for even asking the question! I am using a Denso now but if were to fail AND the US Made Walbro was comparable in flow characteristics AND warranty I would not hesitate to spend a little more to buy a US made product..... i on the other hand would not buy an inferior product just to jump on a bandwagon.... i believe the consumer should have both

Dosent Deatschwerks offer a 3-year no-fault warranty on thier new fuel pump?

Hmm.. 1 year or 3 year

I thought ...

aeromative was US made also! What about the racetronixs double pumpers?

OK everyone, thanks for the feedback, emails and phone calls. I am a little overwhelmed with the response. I believe I made the right decision by not jumping on this train. I will post up pics, prices and warranty info on the Walbro as soon as I can

i was talking with the man at weldon yesterday, real nice and knowledgeable-BTW. i wish you could just get him to lower the price on his pumps. that's what i would get.

i need something that can fuel 120's now. and still be good in the future for a ls motor or/and 160's.

With the current build of my GN I have gone out of my way to buy parts made in the US.

Until the Chinese knock off the Weldon 2035, just buy the real deal. Sure it seems expensive compared to smaller in tank pumps, but if you want to feed a monster, it is going to cost money. I was cheap and still got a Weldon- the 1100 is $350 and its super quiet. A pump is cheaper than blowing out #1 cyl from lack of fuel...
