Snapped these pics today. That's my neighbor's Ford exploder with a snow cone on top. We're at 14 feet of the white stuff. Interstate 70 from KC to St. Louis is closed.

Thanks. Yeah I should have bought a snow mobile...if not put a lift kit and bigger meats on my truck. And maybe a plow.

They have yet to plow my street. I've watched a 4WD Tahoe get stuck twice trying to drive up past my house and had to back up to get out. The next street over two 4WD's actually got stuck.

Here's another pic....the snow drift next to my truck is 15 inches deep.

But seriously a 1/4 inch of snow is enough to shut down and totaly FUBAR washingtonians. Were not used to snow unless you live in the mountains. last snow we had, there were people just abandoning their cars, and even reports of people crapping in Mcdonalds bags.

Holy cow! That snow is deep. I remember 20 years ago I had to shovel about 2 ft of snow in Somerset NJ when I live with my sister. I couldn't imagine 4 ft . Suxs to be you Brett.

We're gettin nearly nuthin here in NC OH. I came home to 8" of ice in the driveway with a couple 30ft thick drifts only in the 2ft-H range. It sleeted all night and comin home I got the ole girl kicked out to about 60-deg sideway's on a downhill curve of solid ice @ 60mph. BAD place to play That game with nasty guardrails on each side! I actually cursed into the phone! Stupid traction control. I caught the slide and corrected before it could do squat in my favor!

Last night was the FUN! Only got 6-8" but it was light packed ski snow and I was in the Focus with W-rated tires. The tail was sliding around like skiing all the way! Once the snow packed my lower grille all the rest of the drifts were comin over the hood n blinding me temporarily. While I passed these 3 semi's with about 6" between the ruts of lanes I got sucked into a drift! When I hit the rumble strips I knew I had it, cuz that always clears the treads out, and ripped the wheel 90-deg right in the white-out Caught her when I felt the ruts and just kept the hammer down!

Winter's about the only time you can really have sum FUN on public roads!

We got 23in of snow yesturday and last night! I hate this freakin crap. Nothing worse than spending two entire days just digging this sh*t out of the way. I hate winter, I hate salt, I hate cold, I hate Energy Bills, and most of all I HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All we got from this storm was some rain and high winds. Other than that it went from 72* last weekend where I washed all the cars in t-shirt & shorts to 34* today @ 11:30 am... Burrrrrr!

I was down in Alabama this past weekend and it wa 65 and sunny!!! Then I come home to this crap!!!!!

We drove through TN and KY too. It just got colder and colder as we headed North. Then an hour from home, we were driving through sleet. DAMN!!!!!!



P.S.......The people do talk pretty funny down there though!!!:biggrin:
