Wrecked my car today..

Was on the way across town, it was drizzling out. Going about 55MPH with the MT drag radials on it. Had put plenty of miles on these tires in the rain. Guess I hydroplaned. All I know is I ended up going backwards and hit a tree which then bounced me like a pinball into another tree with the front end.

Does anyone know if there is an intertia fuel pump cutoff or something.

Now the fuel pump won't run. Maybe have knocked it off the hanger from impact?

I tried jumping the wire under the hood, but still no power.

Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope you are OK. Just goes to show how quickly crap like that happens. Good luck! PS. Not sure about the fuel cutoff. The only cars I've ever seen with a fuel pump reset are Fords.

Yeah, I'm OK. Just my pride hurt. Had just put my new 3200 converter in the car last night.

Sorry to hear about the car. Try the wiring connections on the drivers side under the car just behind the rear bumper, a 3 wire harness. Sometimes they can come loose. Even though it looks connected it may not be. HTH.
