I know you stated 3.73, but thought I would through this out there. I have a complete rear from a '87 Regal. Details:

3.42 stock ring/pinion with HD clutch pack
28-spline C-clip eliminator axles
T/A Performance rear end cover
Long wheel studs

The rear worked fine for me - I just switched to a 9" set up. The part is in Northern Delaware right now. Let me know if you are interested and we can work something out.

Monte's came with 7.5 rears... that wont help me much

I understand that but there are a lot of Monte guys that swap an 8.5 and use those gears! Thought they may be able to help!

I know the 442's came with 8.5's with 3.73's... I've got the word out on alot of Gbody websites. I'd like to stock to the stock ratio, but will go 3.42 if someone does have one.
