WTB: Lightning Rods w/console plate.

As the title states. Thinkin' its time to upgrade my GN, but keep somewhat of a stock interior appearance.


One question to those who have done the swap - can I use my OE shift cable, or do I need one from a Hurst Olds?

I believe you need everything from the hurst olds except the shifter bezel. Also make sure to get a 4 spd set because they also made a 3spd setup as well. Also be prepared to spend $800-$1200

Damn... Maybe a short throw shifter from GBP is the way to go.

x2. thats exactly correct. A nice 4spd complete unit is gonna be every bit of $1K. I have been looking myself

call brian at gbody parts.I got mine from him,you need the bracket on trans,cable,and shifter.You then have to cut away some of the top counsel plate to make all fit in stock housing. top plate is available from mark hueffman. Again be prepaired to pay,they don't give them away. But i can tell you this people see them and ask alot about them,cuz they don't know what they are.I love them in my gn.

seriously call brian,that how i got mine.I love how they look in car and it is great when you down shift and upshift,its just a trick setup. You can also watch evil bay i have seen alot on there recently.

I have been tossing the idea around of selling my NOS 4 Speed LIghtning Rods - Brand new with new mounting bracket, new shift cable and transmission bracket.
I do not have the plate. Need $1500 shipped. Never been used. Absolutley perfect.
