let me know what you have..... Some Jackass decided to hit my car and run a few months ago.... and i have been looking ever since.... I Really need the lefthand Belt moulding as well as the Landau Top Trim


please help a brother out

Gimme a pic so I can at least look for good used at the local yard next week.

And do you have the GM part numbers? If not I can find them, and that would help your search considerably.

But I need a pic or very accurate description.

Alright Aaron tell me you love me. I found the vertical top moldings left AND right. I'm PM'ing you the info.

The actual belt molding (20604863) is paint to match. I didn't find a whole lot out there on that one but if you are painting it anyway just go find a straight one in the junkyard or I'll do it for you next week. I DID find what I believe to be an earlier part number for the same part, which is 20397699. Use at your own risk but I think it's right.

I found a couple sources for the retainer clips but they seem to be pretty common. Lemme know if you can't find them.

Just for your reference, both those parts started in 81 and went to 87. 78-80 appears to be different but there should be some of them out there. In fact lemme check other sections olds mighta used the same ones EDIT: nope regal only.

Don't know if it's the same or not since I don't have pics to go on, but I took the 1/2 to off one of my cars and still have the trim. Is this the same?

OR better yet I got photographic proof of at least 4 of those vinyl top cars at my local yard.

one of them has to have nice moldings and a whole lot cheaper.

That's what I stripped off of my NA car. It's a parts car so I'll take a look and see if it looks good or not.

My pics of your car looks like you have painted on the left and chrome on the right. I can't tell. I think my "other number" I gave you above is chrome and the original is painted. I think later cars used painted trim there.

Am I creeping you out yet?

Landau mouldings available...

I got an 84 LMT in the shed - has the above mouldings - some off already. If it comes down to me - I think I got these parts and will take pics the next time I go to the farm. This car will be gutted for racing this fall.

Did you try his ebay username I gave you? He has stuff listed there at all times. I'd be patient and try to snag the verticals if the price is reasonable. I am planning a trip to the yard in which those pictures were taken, hopefully next week. I will look at it all up close but I'm not taking anything off unless it is very nice. It would be stupid cheap but shipping it would suck. Next time through St. Louis? Maybe next years power tour if it goes that way, LOL. I don't go 6 hours east of me too often. Maybe been there 3 times in 28 years . But if I find it I will figure out how to get it to you securely.
