XFI cam sync flag

When looking at the real time dashboard I notice the cam sync flag will come on in red with a number 1 every so often. The SES light came on once and flagged the cam sync as an error. When I restarted the car it was gone. Any thoughts on why the cam sensor causes this...the sensor was installed with the caspers tool, it went in to spec with no issues. Thanks
