Just an update for any Xylene or Trans + users. I had 5 passes on the eighth mile last night, best of 8.2 @ 84, 1.87 60 ft on 245 Nittos, 22 psi, on the 100 octane Xylene mix. Fastest mph of 85. This is my 3rd time drag racing but I think the street cars at this little rural track noticed the car (first time there).
Timing was 25/23* Base and 23/21* WOT (over 3000 rpm). Fuel was 42 lb static Base and WOT I added 4% fp, about 2 lb, Trans + settings (4,2,3,F). O2's stayed above 780 with a 1.6 degree knock on shifts only. So I may have been able to lean out, but I didn't at that boost level. At +6% WOT fp, the O2s were at 800 to 810 mv with 0 to 1.2 kr on shifts.
I gained a consistent 2 to 3 mph in the eighth with the follow changes from last year: powerplate, Dut neck, TB bore, and extender chip/translator (plus 2 or 3 lb more boost ).
