This is a complete package from oil pan to intake, flywheel to balancer with forged internals - crank, pistons, rods and a hydraulic roller cam.

The heads are max ported irons with new, larger valves. Intake has been match ported to the heads.

All machine work was done by Zimmerman Racing, and he installed 2 steel main caps.

Fasteners are ARP.

It has been started since being freshened to verify all is working good.

Customer has purchased another complete engine to replace this one and is will to part with the complete package only, he will not part out.

At the selling price of $8500, it will be almost impossible to duplicate! :)

I have a customer who might be interested. Is it stock stroke?

I am not going go buy this engine, but I'm curious....with the correct supporting hardware (turbo, fuel, etc.), what horsepower level will this engine support? Not once and done race car set up, but a reliable street car set up.

Just curious on what you get for the money on a pro built 109 motor like this. Thanks.

I appreciate your opening comment as it is an honest one! :)

Builds like this that we have done are good for low 10's in a GN, and are VERY reliable with a proper tune and gas.

This engine was built a couple years ago and has very few miles on it total, and was just checked and freshened since it is being sold. The key to reliability and longevity is the forged parts, especially the crank.

Recently forged cranks are hard to find, and their price has increased because of this. Other engine parts have also increased in price. To currently duplicate this build, from oil pan to intake with a front cover, would be about $10,000.

We just sold a similar short block for $6000, and did it NOT include a roller cam kit or any other parts.
