I had a 9 second car and thought I wanted a 11 second street car with AC. Sold the 9 sec car and got a mid 11 stocker. I got bored with that in 2 months. Thought it would be cool to make it a ten sec car. Did that and got bored quick. Turned it up amd made it a 9 sec car with od, AC. Got bored of that too lol

Well let's see here.......

I built my car to run mid to low tens with ease. That's what it can do. I drive it around like its a taxi cab. Has ac and a killer sound system . I normally drive.it on the street at 16 Psi. That's how Iraced it in the street radial class.....throw the drag radials on at that low boost it still runs very very low 7,s in the eighth mile @97-98 mph even in the heat .


So yes a mid tens car is very drivable. Try it with mid tens all motor car and its not happy .

I built my car to run mid to low tens with ease. That's what it can do.. I normally drive .it on the street at 16 Psi.
So yes a mid tens car is very drivable. Try it with mid tens all motor car and its not happy .

Like I said, you have a de-tuned 9 sec car running mid tens

You think these things are expensive or parts are hard to come by? Try a 22 year old custom built boat. 15 miles out we destroy a transmission, even the housing is unusable and we are staring at 25k + to get it up and running.

the cost and knowledge of the car below the mid 11 sec range is just so drastic.just about about every component on the car must be addressed heading toward the 10/9 sec range.

I love my mid-11 combo. I'm not changing a thing. I'd like to assemble another motor just in case, but I bracket my car at least 5 weekends per year and usually dial 11.6x to 11.9x. Driven to and from the track.

TRY ME GT...aka Barry Wood has about 1500 passes on his motor. All mid to high 11's without a glitch. I was with him this past weekend for 3 days of racing. In nasty ass heat, he was ripping off 11.6-11.3's all weekend.
I call that pretty reliable.
